Cinema Muzeul Ţăranului
Cinema Muzeul Ţăranului is one of Buacherest’s most popular art cinemas which welcomes both cinephiles and the casual viewer. It gives a voice to Romanian cinema, organising discussions and Q&A sessions with the cast and crew of the films. It is located inside the National Peasant Museum. Its vintage look highlights the building’s unique history of communist rule. In the 1990s, Romanian painter Horia Bernea transformed the building to its original purpose: the Romanian Peasant Museum. As a member of the Europa Cinemas Network, Cinema Muzeul Ţăranului aims to connect Europe by organizing events in collaboration with other European cinemas.
