Kino Pilotů
Kino Pilotů is a modern arthouse movie theatre that takes its name from a much older cinema which operated until the 90s. It was founded in 2016 to offer a vital cultural space in Vršovice, a bustling Prague district. Kino Pilotů organizes varied festivals which highlight Israeli and Iranian movies or hosts the Prague Shorts festival. Continuing themes touch upon the topics of the rise of rightwing populism, conspiracies, discontent amongst the working class and much more. These screenings are accompanied with a conversation with the filmmakers.
